Projects
There are many types of structural systems that can be designed, engineered, fabricated
and installed using glued-laminated arches, trusses, beams and columns. Below are some
examples of typical construction applications using glued-laminated-beam technology.
Religious Structures
Pool Covers
Bridges
Park Shelters
Religious Structures:
The beauty of wood creates a warm friendly atmosphere that is found to be very desirable
for religious sanctuary construction. The use of glued-laminated beam as the main framing
members in the structural system in conjunction with pre-finished wood decking and nail
base insulation create an affordable, energy efficient framing system. This system can be
utilized to design basic conservative structures or it can be used to meet the needs of
the most spectacular structures imaginable.

Pool Covers
Treated Glued-laminated framing members along with moisture resistant deck systems make
the use of glue-lam a desirable framing option for pool cover construction. These framing
systems can be used for basic residential pool covers or can accommodate the needs of
large aquatic centers with large spans.

Bridges
Wood bridges are another example of the tremendous structural capabilities of
glued-laminated technology. Because of the natural beauty and structural design
capabilities wood offers the designer a unique opportunity to design simple and complex
bridge structures. Typical types of bridge construction using glued-laminated technology
are Pedestrian & Light Vehicular, Custom Light Vehicular, Covered Bridges and
Suspension Bridges.

Park Shelters
The use of pitched curved and tapered beams provide a unique framing option at an
affordable price. We have several park shelter packages that include columns, beams,
decking, connector plates and shingles. These shelters are durable, economical and require
very little maintenance. These prefabricated packages are shipped to the job ready for
fast, easy installation.
